To provide a membrane separation activated sludge apparatus mountable with a membrane separation tank at low cost and in a short period of time.SOLUTION: The membrane separation activated sludge apparatus comprises: a panel unit in which a plurality of panels are assembled in a rectangular cylindrical form; a first water-impermeable sheet in a bottomed cylindrical form that is placed inside the panel unit and open upward; and a membrane unit that is placed inside the first water-impermeable sheet and separates water to be treated stored in the first water-impermeable sheet into treated water and pollutants. The membrane separation tank comprises: a panel unit in which a plurality of panels are assembled in a rectangular cylindrical form; and a first water-impermeable sheet in a bottomed cylindrical form that is placed inside the panel unit, and mountable with a membrane unit that separates stored water to be treated into treated water and pollutants.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
