To provide mainly an opening decoration member capable of improving connection between a sash and a wall surface (exterior wall).SOLUTION: A decoration member 21 for an opening has a decoration member body 23 attachable to the upper side or the lower side of an upper peripheral of a sash frame 22. The decoration member may have grooves 31 and 32 on its surface. The grooves 31 and 32 may be provided in plural numbers. The plural grooves 31 and 32 may be different in groove depth. The decoration member body 23 may have a projection on its side surface. The decoration member body 23 may have a drain 61. The drain 61 and the grooves 31 and 32 may be connected. The decoration member body 23 may be formed in the form of a box. The decoration member may have a line passing part. The decoration member may be provided over both horizontal and vertical frames constituting the sash frame 22. The decoration member may be installed between the sash frame 22 and an eaves soffit member 91.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
