To provide a suspending tool that can safely hoist long materials such as steel frames by a slinging chain at a construction site of a building.SOLUTION: There are included: a base 11 connected between one end of left and right legs 11A by a connecting section 11B; a clamping screw 12, which is attached to one leg 11A so as to be screwed forward or backward and which tightens and holds a material W between the screwed tip and the other leg 11A; a guide section 13 provided on the connecting section 11B of the base 11, in which guide holes are formed with both ends of a guide rod section 13A extending in a first direction being fixed to the connecting section 11B; a first ring section 14, which is connected by being inserted into the guide hole, and which can be displaced or slidable by the guide rod section 13A; a second ring section 15, which is inserted and connected to the first ring section 14 and can be displaced or slidable by the first ring section 14; and a hook 17, which is movably attached to the second ring section 15 around a rotation axis 16 and on which a suspension chain can be hooked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
