To provide a resin composition for a ceramic industry capable of forming a coating film excellent in water proofness, having high elongation strength while being excellent in extensibility, formed on a surface of an outer wall material such as mortar, and excellent in adhesion to a coating film deteriorated by such as an exposure to rainwater, and also to provide a resin emulsion for a ceramic building material favorably usable for the resin composition for a ceramic industry.SOLUTION: A resin emulsion for a ceramic building material includes an emulsion particle having a plurality of resin layers. A monomer component forming an outer layer of the emulsion particle is a monomer component containing an acetoacetoxy group-containing monomer at a content rate of 0.1-10 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】耐水性に優れ、伸び性に優れるとともに伸び強度が高く、モルタルなどの外壁材の表面上で形成され、雨水の曝露などによって劣化した塗膜との密着性に優れた塗膜を形成する窯業用樹脂組成物および当該窯業用樹脂組成物に好適に使用することができる窯業建材用樹脂エマルションを提供する。【解決手段】複数の樹脂層を有するエマルション粒子を含有する窯業建材用樹脂エマルションであって、エマルション粒子の外層を形成する単量体成分がアセトアセトキシ基含有単量体を０．１〜１０質量％の含有率で含有する単量体成分であることを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
