INSTALLATION METHOD OF SELF-ELEVATING PLATFORM AND INSTALLATION SYSTEM OF SELF ELEVATING PLATFORM
To provide a means capable of seating multiple legs of a self-elevating platform in a stable condition on a water bottom.SOLUTION: A three dimensional sonar 60 or a range finder 62 continuously measures at least one of each position of multiple legs 52 and the shape of the submarine ground while lowering the multiple legs 52 of a self-elevating platform 5 toward a water bottom 3. A display device 57 displays the measured results by the three dimensional sonar 60 or the range finder 62. Each of the multiple legs 52 is seated in the period of a prescribed time length. The three dimensional sonar 60 is provided on a bottom part of a hull 51 of the self-elevating platform 5. The range finder 62 is provided at each of the multiple legs 52 of the self-elevating platform 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
