To provide a roof protection structure for a tank which protects an upper part of an inner tank protruding upward from a side wall of a steel tank having a concrete side wall from flying objects.SOLUTION: The roof protection structure for a tank includes: a support pillar 11 standing at the center of a bottom plate 4a of an inner tank of a steel tank 1 having a concrete side wall 3b, and having a height from an upper surface of the bottom plate 4a to above a roof plate 6; a plurality of cable attachment members 8 attached at substantially equal intervals around the same circumference of an upper part of the side wall 3b; a plurality of cables 17 extending from the cable attachment members 8 to an upper part 12 of the support pillar 11 and/or the other cable attachment members 8; and a protective surface 9a having an impact absorbing ability disposed between the cables 17 and 17, respectively. An upper part of the steel inner tank protruding upward from the concrete side wall 3b is protected from flying objects.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】コンクリート製の側壁を備えた鋼製のタンクの該側壁より上部に突出する前記タンクの内槽の上部を飛来物から防護するタンク用屋根防護構造である。【解決手段】コンクリート製の側壁３ｂを備えた鋼製のタンク１の内槽の底板４ａ中心に立設し、該底板４ａ上面から屋根板６上方までの高さを有する支柱１１と、前記側壁３ｂの上部の同一円周ほぼ等間隔に離隔して取付ける複数の索条取付部材８と、前記索条取付部材８から前記支柱１１の上部１２及び又は他の前記索条取付部材８間に亘り張設する複数本の索条１７と、前記索条１７、１７相互間に配設する衝撃吸収能力を有する防護面９ａとを備え、前記コンクリート製の側壁３ｂより上部に突出する前記鋼製の内槽の上部を飛来物から防護することを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
