SHORT STRUT JACK INSTALLATION BOX AND LANDSLIDE PROTECTION STRUT
To provide a short strut jack installation box and a landslide protection strut of which a short strut jack bears only the axial force acting on a short strut, not the bending force and the shearing force, and the short strut jack can be installed at any position in the axial direction of the short strut.SOLUTION: An inner frame 12 and an outer frame 11 internally contacting the inner frame 12 are provided. Provided inside is a short strut jack 3 that introduces an axial force to a landslide protection strut 1. The outer frame 11 and the inner frame 12 are arranged so as to be slidable in opposite directions to the axial direction of the short strut as the short strut jack 3 expands and contracts. The outer circumference of the short strut jack 3 and the inner frame 11 are separated from each other. It is structured such that the axial force acting on the landslide protection strut 1 is transmitted by the short strut jack 3, and the bending force and the shearing force acting on the landslide protection strut 1 are transmitted at the contact surfaces of the outer frame 11 and the inner frame 12. A friction reducing material is interposed on the contact surface between the outer frame 11 and the inner frame 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
