To provide a residence capable of effectively conducting housekeeping work by plural occupants at the same time and suppressing scattering of daily commodities such as clothing.SOLUTION: A residence 1 comprises a corridor 3 connected to an entrance hall 24, a dressing traffic line L1 as a traffic line connecting the corridor 3 and a living and dining room 4 and passing a dressing room 5 having at least a passage part 51 and a clothing storage part 52, a cooking traffic line L2 as a traffic line connecting the corridor 3 and the living and dining room 4 and passing at least a kitchen 8, and a washing traffic line L3 as a traffic line connecting the corridor 3 and the living and dining room 4 and passing at least a wash laundry room 7. The dressing traffic line L1, the cooking traffic line L2, and the washing traffic line L3 are placed in parallel not crossing to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
