VEHICLE SIDE DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE
To provide a vehicle side door opening and closing device having a mechanism for mechanically stopping a side door in the fully open position.SOLUTION: The vehicle side door opening and closing device includes: a drive unit 11 with a pinion gear 21 fixed to an output shaft 24A; and a rack 27 that meshes with the pinion gear 21 and extends in the front-rear direction of the side door 14. The vehicle side door opening and closing device is configured so that the front end of the rack 27 is connected a vehicle body side bracket 19 fixed to the vehicle body 17, and when the rack 27 moves forward due to the rotation of the pinion gear 21, the side door 14 moves in the opening direction, and when the rack 27 moves rearward, the side door 14 moves in the closing direction. At the rear end of the rack 27, a contact stopper 41 is fixed to contact the drive unit 11 so as to, when the rack 27 moves forward by a predetermined amount, prevent the rack 27 from moving forward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】車両サイドドアの開閉装置にサイドドアをフル開扉位置で機械的に停止させる機構を設ける。【解決手段】車両サイドドアの開閉装置は、出力軸２４Ａにピニオン歯車２１を固定した駆動ユニット１１と、ピニオン歯車２１に噛合してサイドドア１４の前後方向に伸びるラック２７とを有する。ラック２７の前端部は車体１７に固定した車体側ブラケット１９に連結してピニオン歯車２１の回転によりラック２７が前方に移動するとサイドドア１４が開扉方向に移動しラック２７が後方に移動するとサイドドア１４が閉扉方向に移動する構成とする。ラック２７の後端部にはラック２７が前方に規定量移動すると駆動ユニット１１に当接してラック２７の前方への移動を阻碍する当接ストッパ４１を固定する。【選択図】図５
