To provide an automatic wall paper gluing machine that has such a function as to detect the degree in misalignment of the wall paper while performing the gluing and corrects the degree in misalignment when the misalignment is still small.SOLUTION: Wall paper end detection means is provided to detect a wall paper end H, and blade position detection means is provided to detect a blade position. Each time wall paper in a predetermined length is conveyed, the width of a side end is calculated from a wall paper end position detected by the wall paper end detection means and the blade position detected by the blade position detection means. In addition, the misalignment rate is calculated each time wall paper in a predetermined length is conveyed, and the decrease and increase in the width of the side end of the wall paper on which the gluing is not performed yet is predicted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
