ATTACHMENT FOR DRIVING DOWN PILE AND PILE PRESS-IN METHOD
To provide an attachment for driving down a pile for easily adjusting a height of a top end of the pile, and a pile press-in method.SOLUTION: An attachment 2 for driving down a pile P used when an existing pile P is pressed in the foundation has a column part 40 which is held by a chuck 20 of a pile press-in machine 1, and a holding part 41 which is mounted on the lower end of the column part 40 and holds a top end of the existing pile P. A method for pressing-in an existing pile P into the foundation includes the steps of: holding the pile P by a chuck 20 of a pile press-in machine 1 and presses-in the pile P into the foundation; mounting an attachment 2 to the top end of the existing pile P; and holding a column part 40 with the chuck 20 of the pile press-in machine 1, and pressing-in the existing pile P into the foundation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
