SAFETY DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
To provide a safety device for construction machines that correctly detects the presence and removal of an obstacle in a predetermined region around a construction machine and correctly performs drive control of the construction machine in each condition, and that can correctly visualize and recognize predetermined image information using a monitor for a period of doing the above actions.SOLUTION: The safety device for construction machines includes: infrared cameras 6A to 6C that record videos for the inside of a predetermined region around a construction machine; obstacle detection units 10A to 10C that process video signals S1 to S3 that are output from the infrared cameras 6A to 6C, and that send obstacle signals S7 to S9 which increase when detecting the presence of an obstacle in predetermined regions A, B and decrease when detecting removal of the obstacle from the predetermined regions A, B; a control unit 12 that performs an emergency stop for driving the construction machine via a hydraulic system based on increases in the obstacle signals S7 to S9 and restarts driving the construction machine via the hydraulic system based on decreases in the obstacle signals S7 to S9; and a monitor 15 that regenerates and visualizes the video signals S1 to S3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】建設機械の周囲の所定領域における障害物の存在および退避を的確に検出し、各状況における建設機械の駆動制御を的確に行うとともに、この間の所定の画像情報をモニタで的確に可視化して把握し得る建設機械の安全装置を提供する。【解決手段】建設機械の周囲の所定領域内における映像を撮像する赤外線カメラ6A〜6Cと、赤外線カメラ6A〜6Cから出力される映像信号S1〜S3を処理し、所定領域A,B内における障害物の存在を検出した場合に立上がるとともに、所定領域A,B内からの退避を検出した場合に立下がる障害物信号S7〜S9を送出する障害物検出部10A〜10Cと、障害物信号S7〜S9の立上りに基づき油圧系を介してその駆動の緊急停止を行うとともに、障害物信号S7〜S9の立下りに基づき油圧系を介して建設機械の駆動を再開させる制御部12と、映像信号S1〜S3を再生して可視化するモニタ15とを有する。【選択図】図3
