To provide a connecting device, and a connecting structure and a connecting method therefor, where two building materials arranged to face each other can be immovably connected in a longitudinal direction of the building materials.SOLUTION: A base member 22 of a transom 12 and a base member 42 of a lateral building frame member 5A and the like are building materials arranged outside of an opening S at intervals. A plurality of connecting members 84, 85 are arranged in parallel in a longitudinal direction of two building materials perpendicular to a direction of the interval. At least some of the plurality of connecting members 84, 85 are arranged between the two building materials at a different angle to the direction of the interval relative to other connecting members. One end of each of the plurality of connecting members 84, 85 are connected to one of the two building materials and the other end of each are connected to the other building material, resulting in the plurality of connecting members 84, 85 bridging over the two building materials and connecting them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
