To provide a plate material support tool capable of easily supporting a plate material having a prescribed thickness well with a simple structure and realizing a stronger partition body, and the partition body.SOLUTION: The plate material support tool for supporting a plate material having a prescribed thickness in an upright state comprises: a support pillar member 2 provided upright in a perpendicular direction; an upper holding part 3 provided to the upper end side of the support pillar member 2 so as to hold the upper edge of the plate material; and a lower holding part 4 provided to the lower end side of the support pillar member 2 so as to hold the lower edge of the plate material. The upper holding part 3 is provided to the support pillar member 2 so as to be movable along the support pillar member 2, and an installation member 5 is provided to the support pillar member 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
