To provide a bathroom capable of preventing a bathroom space from becoming dark as a whole while reducing a downward projection amount of a lighting device from a ceiling.SOLUTION: In a bathroom including a ceiling having an opening portion, and a lighting device disposed on the opening portion, the lighting device has a lighting portion irradiating light, and a cover portion covering a side part and a lower part of the lighting portion and transmitting the light irradiated from the lighting portion, and the lighting portion is disposed in a manner of being partially positioned at an upper part with respect to a lower end of the opening portion, and positioned at a lower part with respect to the lower end of the opening portion at the other part. The cover portion has a side face portion covering the side part of the lighting portion, and a lower face portion covering the lower part of the lighting portion, and light transmissivity of the side face portion is higher than light transmissivity of the lower face portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
