WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT METHOD
To provide a water quality management system capable of suppressing metal concentration in water discharged from a dam reservoir.SOLUTION: A water quality management system 1 controls metal concentration in the reservoir water by activating metal-oxidizing bacteria in the reservoir water of a dam reservoir R equipped with an embankment B having at least one outlet G1, G2, G3 on a downstream side of the dam reservoir R. The water quality management system 1 includes an oxygen concentration sensor 2 for measuring the dissolved oxygen concentration of the reservoir water in a deep layer downstream of the dam reservoir R, an oxygen supply unit 3 for supplying oxygen to the reservoir water in a deep layer upstream of the dam reservoir R, and a control unit 4 for adjusting an amount of oxygen supplied by the oxygen supply unit 3 according to the dissolved oxygen concentration measured by the oxygen concentration sensor 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
