To provide an operation support device, an operation support method, a computer program, and a water intake system that can support an operation plan of a pump more properly.SOLUTION: An operation support device according to an embodiment has an operation data acquisition part, a characteristic data generation part, an electric power original unit estimation part, and a support data output part. The operation data acquisition part acquires operation data on a plurality of pumps taking water from a plurality of water sources. The characteristic data generation part generates, based upon operation data acquired in the past, characteristic data representing relationship between an electric power original unit and the operation data for each of the plurality of pumps. The electric power original unit estimation part estimates, based upon the characteristic data and current operation data, current values of respective electric power original units of the plurality of pumps. The support data output part outputs support data associated with the current values of the electric power original units estimated for the plurality of pumps respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
