REPAIR METHOD OF BRIDGE PIER
To build a cross beam without removing pier studs made of reinforced concrete.SOLUTION: A cross beam 12b and the upper part of a pier stud 12a that is continuous with the cross beam 12b are removed, concrete is removed from the upper end of the remained pier stud 12aa after removal over a predetermined height to expose the reinforcing bar R, a steel cross beam unit CB, which includes a cross beam CB1 and a tubular pier stud CB2 and is the substitute for the removed cross beam 12b and the upper part of the pier stud 12a, is moved in, the exposed reinforcing bar R is placed on the remained pier stud 12aa so as to surround it with the pier stud CB2, and concrete is cast with the pier stud part CB2 being formwork to integrate the remained pier stud 12aa and the steel cross beam unit CB.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
