METHOD OF REPLACING EXISTING CORPORATION STOP
To provide a method of easily replacing an existing corporation stop having a water cut-off top and attached to a water main pipe with a new saddle corporation stop.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of replacing an existing corporation stop 1 with a new saddle corporation stop 2, the existing corporation stop comprising: an existing pipe 8 erected in a water diversion hole 6 formed in a main pipe 5; an existing saddle 4 for attaching the existing pipe 8 to the main pipe 5; an existing diversion pipe 11 connected in the middle of the existing pipe 8; and a water cut-off top 3 that can cut off the flow of tap water from the water diversion hole 6 to the existing diversion pipe 11. The method includes: a removal step of removing the water cut-off top 3; an installation step in which a guide 40 is set up in the water diversion hole 6; and a corporation-stop step in which the new saddle corporation stop 2 is installed in the main pipe 5 through guidance with a guide after removing the water cut-off top 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
