To provide a technique to improve a balance between a fixing strength of a decorative material to a base material and weight saving of and readiness to transport of the decorative material.SOLUTION: A decorative material 10 has a decorative layer 12 and a magnet layer 14 disposed uniformly on one face of the decorative layer 12. In the decorative material 10, the magnet layer 14 is subjected to multipolar magnetization on a rear face facing the decorative layer 12. Magnetization pitch (mm) with respect to the whole thickness of the decorative material 10 (mm) satisfies that (magnetization pitch/whole thickness) equals to or more than 1.50 and equals to or less than 3.00. The decorative layer 12 does not have a ferromagnetic layer, or if the intervening layer is disposed between the decorative layer 12 and the magnet layer 14, the decorative layer 12 and an intervening layer do not have a ferromagnetic layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
