To provide a newly configured shutter with a water stop which is improved so as to be less inconvenient, for example, making a shutter curtain located on a water stop less bendable when closed.SOLUTION: A shutter with a water stop of the present disclosure comprises, for example: a shutter curtain movable in an up-and-down direction; the water stop located below the shutter curtain, movable in the an up-and-down direction along with the shutter curtain, and controlling a flood from an opening of a building in a closed state where the water stop abuts on a mounting surface of the opening of the building; and a suspension mechanism having a first part connected to the shutter curtain and a second part connected to the water stop, and coming into a suspension state where the water stop is suspended from the shutter curtain via the first part and the second part in an opened state where the water stop is away from the mounting surface and also coming into a released state where the water stop is released from the suspension from the shutter curtain via the first part and the second part in a closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
