To prevent deformation during excavation to maintain a function of excavation bits.SOLUTION: A steel pipe pile (10) comprises: a steel pipe body (11); and plate-like excavation bits (12) that are attached on an end surface (11E) of the steel pipe body (11) at angles (θ1, θ2) to circumferential tangents of the steel pipe body (11).
