END STRUCTURE OF RADIOACTIVE WASTE DISPOSAL TUNNEL, MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR END STRUCTURE OF RADIOACTIVE WASTE DISPOSAL TUNNEL, AND LEAKAGE PREVENTION METHOD FOR MATERIAL CONFINED IN RADIOACTIVE WASTE DISPOSAL TUNNEL
To provide a plug periphery structure for more reliably preventing leakage of a material confined in a tunnel space formed with a plug and a tunnel from the inner part of tunnel space to the outside, a manufacturing method for plug periphery structure, and a leakage prevention method for material confined in the tunnel space.SOLUTION: A radioactive waste disposal tunnel for fixing radioactive waste inside is formed underground and includes an end structure 10. The end structure 10 of the radioactive waste disposal tunnel includes: two plug 12-1 and 12-2 installed at prescribed interval in an end of a tunnel 18 in which radioactive waste 4 is fixed; a region between plugs 16 filled with cutoff material slurry 14; a tunnel periphery impregnating region 22 impregnated with the cutoff slurry 14 from a perimeter surface of inner wall 18a of the tunnel 18 on region between plugs 16 to a tunnel periphery base rock 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
