To provide a solidification material for radioactive waste disposal that can solidify in a short time liquid of radioactive waste containing sodium sulfate.SOLUTION: A solidification material for radioactive waste disposal used to solidify radioactive waste containing sodium sulfate includes a cement-based mixture containing at least cement, a solidification promoter for promoting solidification of the radioactive waste with the cement-based mixture, and an expansive additive that prevents contraction of a solidified body that is the solidified radioactive waste. The solidification material contains potassium pyrosulfite as the solidification promoter in an amount of 15 weight% or more and 45 weight% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
