To provide a rescue facility and rescue method for a pneumatic caisson method that make it possible to easily and safely convey and rescue a person to be rescued even when the person has lost consciousness and cannot move at all.SOLUTION: A rescue facility 1 for a pneumatic caisson method for rescuing a person M1 to be rescued in the pneumatic caisson method comprises: a housing-shaped rescue chamber 3 that has a hatch formed on a lower part thereof, is coupled to a lifting facility Lf to freely move up and down in a material shaft Ms, and takes the vertical direction as its longer direction; a first pulley system including a movable pulley and a fixed pulley coupled to the rescue chamber 3's inside upper part; and a stretcher capable of being lifted by the first pulley system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
