To provide a fire-proof fitting imparted with fire protection performance as a fitting arranged in a building opening.SOLUTION: A fitting includes a frame body formed by assembling frame members 33 into a four-sided configuration and a sliding sash arranged inside the frame body. The frame body is configured such that at least one of the frame members 13 is provided with a flame-retardant airtight material s31 having an airtight piece s31c abutting on a stile of the sliding sash when the sliding sash is closed and a heating foam 53 disposed between the frame body and the airtight piece, which makes it possible to impart high fireproof performance to the fitting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
