FENCE FITTING DEVICE AND SAFETY FENCE
To provide a fence fitting device by which a fence can be simply and firmly fixed to a machine casing and it is also easy to adjust a distance between an object, such as a belt conveyor, and the fence.SOLUTION: A belt conveyor transport apparatus 1 includes a frame 13 to support a belt conveyor 4. The frame 13 includes an upper surface part 13a and a side surface part 13b. A fence fitting device 20 includes a first support frame 21 to support a fence 19, and a fixing device 22 to fix the first support frame 21 to the frame 13. The fixing device 22 includes a support member 26 to support the first support frame 21, and a block 27 to support the support member 26. The block 27 includes a bottom surface part brought into a surface contact with an upper surface part 13a of the frame 13, and a front protruded part and a rear protruded part that are protruded downward from the bottom surface part. A bolt 32 is disposed in the front protruded part. The bolt 32 presses a side surface part 13b of the frame 13 toward the rear protruded part of the fixing block 27. The support member 26 is moved in parallel to the block 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
