To provide an automatic door driving device capable of grasping the fact that an automatic door is likely to fail and preventing an occurrence of the failure of the automatic door.SOLUTION: An automatic door driving device 10, which includes: a guide rail 12 provided along the opening/closing direction of a door panel 30 of an automatic door; a roller unit 13 having a guide roller 13a rotating while abutting on the guide rail 12, and a door panel fixing portion 13b for fixing the door panel 30; roller unit driving means 14 for moving the roller unit 13 along the guide rail 12; and an opening/closing controller 17 for controlling the opening/closing of the door panel 30 by controlling the roller unit driving means 14, is configured to further include guide roller abnormality detecting means 15 for detecting an abnormality of the guide roller 13a or the guide rail 12 by directly or indirectly detecting the vibration of the guide roller 13a or the guide rail 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
