【課題】軸方向の長さが異なる巻取軸に対処できるようになるシャッターカーテンの巻取装置を提供すること。【解決手段】軸方向の両端部が軸受け部材で支持される巻取軸２に上端部が連結されるシャッターカーテンを、軸受け部材で支持される以前の巻取軸に予め巻き取るために用いられる巻取装置３０であり、巻取軸の軸方向の一方の端部を支持するための第１支持部５１と、他方の端部を支持するための第２支持部５２と、を有し、第１支持部と第２支持部とのうち、一方の支持部は、巻取軸を回転させるための駆動手段が配置された駆動手段付き支持部であり、軸受け部材で支持される以前の巻取軸を駆動手段で回転させることで、巻取軸にシャッターカーテンを巻き取るシャッターカーテンの巻取装置において、第１支持部５１と第２支持部５２との間の間隔が、巻取軸の軸方向に調整可能となっている。【選択図】図８
