To provide a lighting handrail capable of preventing LED light source glare and of lighting with sufficient brightness when a passerby looking up from a lowland in the case that it is installed at the place with difference of elevation such as a stair way, a ramp, and an open ceiling.SOLUTION: A lighting handrail 100 comprises: a handrail cap piece 30 provided with a downward opened recess 31 extended longitudinally; an LED module 40 with a plurality of LED light sources 41 parallely arranged within the recess 31 of the handrail cap piece 30; and a strip like lighting cover 110 arranged at an opening 32 of the recess 31. The lighting cover 110 comprises a louver part with a light transmission layer and a shading layer arranged alternately in the longitudinal direction of the opening 32 repeatedly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】階段、傾斜路、吹き抜けなど高低差のある場所に設置した場合に、通行人が低地から見上げた際にＬＥＤ光源の眩しさを防止すると共に、十分な明るさで照明することができる照明手摺を提供する。【解決手段】照明手摺１００は、下方に開口する凹部３１が長手通しに設けられた手摺笠木３０と、手摺笠木３０の凹部３１内に複数のＬＥＤ光源４１が並列に配置されたＬＥＤモジュール４０と、凹部３１の開口部３２に配置された帯板状の照明カバー１１０とを備える。照明カバー１１０には、光透過層と遮光層とが開口部３２の長手方向に交互に繰り返し配置されたルーバー部を備える。【選択図】図８
