HORIZONTAL FORCE TRANSMISSION MECHANISM
To provide a horizontal force transmission mechanism which can eliminate need to install a new seismic structure.SOLUTION: A horizontal force transmission mechanism 1 according to one embodiment includes: an existing building 30 provided around a building 10; a horizontal member 20 provided between the building 10 and the existing building 30 and extending in the horizontal direction; a guide material provided between the horizontal member 20 and the building 10 to allow the building 10 to move up and down with respect to the horizontal member 20. A horizontal force applied to the building 10 is transmitted to the existing building 30 via the guide material and the horizontal member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
