To enable easily mounting a plurality of glass plates 12, 12A and 12B to the outdoor side of a handrail main body 3 erected on the parapet from the indoor side, to eliminate the need for scaffolding assembly work and reduces construction costs.SOLUTION: A glass mounting frame 14 is provided on the outdoor side of a handrail main body 3 erected on a parapet P of a balcony, and a plurality of glass plates 12 are fitted into upper and lower frames 5 and 7 of the glass mounting frame 14 by a blunt method. An aluminum joint frame 13 is arranged between the plurality of glass plates 12 adjacent to each other. Glass side frames at both ends for glass includes an inside corner side frame 10 composed of an inside corner fixed side frame member 15 and an inside corner movable side frame member 16 that can be moved to enter the inside corner fixed side frame member 15 for overlapping, and an outer corner side frame 11 composed of an outer corner fixed side frame member 19 and an outer corner movable side frame member 20 that can be moved to enter the outer corner fixed side frame member 19 for overlapping. 【課題】パラペットに立設した手摺本体3の室外側に室内側から複数のガラス板12、12A及び12Bを容易に取り付けることができ、足場の組立作業を必要とせず、施工費を安価にする。【解決手段】ベランダのパラペットPに立設した手摺本体3の室外側にガラス取付枠14を設け、これに倹鈍方式で複数のガラス板12をガラス取付枠14の上下枠5,7に嵌め入れるとともに、互いに隣合う複数のガラス板12間にアルミ製目地枠13が配設され、ガラス用の両端部のガラス側枠は、入隅用固定側枠部材15と該入隅用固定側枠部材15に重合するよう進入移動可能な入隅用可動側側枠部材16とからなる入隅用側枠10と、出隅用固定側枠部材19と該出隅用固定側枠部材19に重合するよう進入移動可能な出隅用可動側枠部材20とからなる出隅用側枠11からなり、入隅側ガラス板12Aは入隅用側枠10に室内側から取り付けられ、出隅用ガラス板12Bは出隅用側枠11に室内側から取り付けられる。【選択図】図13
