OPEN/CLOSE BODY DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
To provide a technique capable of improving the function of an automatic opening/closing control mechanism, regarding the drive control of an open/close body for vehicles, and capable of improving user's operability and safety.SOLUTION: A controller 2, which is an open/close body drive control device for vehicles, detects the position of an open/close body, detects the state of a latch mechanism, controls an opening/closing operation of the open/close body according to the position of the open/close body, and performs control in such a way as to shift from a normal state to a power saving state in response to a sleep condition and shift from the power saving state to the normal state in response to a return condition. The controller, when shifting to the power saving state (S5), stores open/close body position information in a memory (S3), and stores latch state information in the memory (S2). The controller, when returning to the normal state (S7), compares the detected current latch state with the latch state in the memory (S8), and if there is any change, performs control so as to erase the open/close body position information in the memory so that it is not used (S10).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
