Provided is an open/close body control device comprising a detection unit for detecting a signal showing the behavior of a plurality of drive units for opening and closing an open/close body provided in a vehicle, and a control unit for determining, on the basis of the signal, whether the plurality of drive units show the same behavior, the control unit not permitting the opening and closing of the open/close body if determining that the plurality of drive units show different behaviors, and permitting the opening and closing of the open/close body if determining that the plurality of drive units show the same behavior. The use of the open/close body control device makes it possible to prevent the opening and closing operation of the open/close body from being started in a state in which the mounting of the drive unit has a problem.
