EXTERIOR COLUMN SUPPORT DEVICE AND SUPPORT METHOD
To provide an exterior column support device and a support method capable of installing the exterior column in a short time without pouring mortar, and which can prevent wobbling of exterior columns even in places where the foundation is not solid, such as outdoor gardens (soil ground).SOLUTION: An exterior column support device 100 includes a hollow tube 12 and a plurality of connection members 14. The hollow tube 12 has an inner dimension (inner diameter D1) spaced radially outwards from an outer surface 11a of a lower end 11 of an external column 10. The hollow tube 12 has external dimensions (outer diameter D2 and length L) which enable the overturning moment M acting on the lower end 11 of the external column 10 to be supported by the compacted earth having the ground bearing capacity fe'. The plurality (four) of connection members 14 are located between the lower end 11 of the external column 10 and an inner surface 12a of the hollow tube 12, with an inner end 14a adhering to the outer surface 11a of the lower end 11 and an outer end 14b adhering to the inner surface 12a of the hollow tube 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
