To provide a method for coating an exterior wall that can easily render inconspicuous a joint tape attached to a joint part between wall materials.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for coating an exterior wall in which a plurality of wall materials 11 are arranged side by side, and a joint part 13 is provided between the adjacent wall materials 11. A joint tape 20 is attached to cover the joint part 13 and the edges of the wall materials 11 at both sides of the joint part 13. A convex spray coating 30 is formed over the joint tape 20 and the wall materials 11 at both sides of the joint tape 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
