To provide a jack device that easily and accurately detects the amount of its own sinking amount.SOLUTION: A jack device 11 comprises: a jack main body 2 arranged between a building 91 and a ground 92 and consisting of a lower part 21 having a placement surface 211 placed on a ground surface 921, and an upper part 22 having a support surface 221 to be raised and lowered relative to the lower part 21 to support the building 91; and a sensor unit 3 held in a base 31 attached to the lower part 21 of the jack main body 2 and is equipped with a downward vertical distance detection unit 32 that irradiates a laser beam to the ground surface 921, at a predetermined position B less susceptible to fluctuations of the ground surface 921 due to the jack main body 2, and measures a vertical distance from the predetermined position B to a laser beam emitting position. A sunk amount is detected by comparing vertical distances before jacking up or down and after jacking up or down.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
