To enable an operator to easily perform operation for changing the posture of a jack without using any active device for changing the posture of the jack.SOLUTION: A jack device 20 includes an arm 30, a jack 40 having a cylinder 41, and a reaction force member 60 provided on the arm 30. The reaction force member 60 makes reaction force moment (Ms) act on all positions of the cylinder 41 from the upright posture to a stored posture. The reaction force member 60 is configured such that the reaction force moment (Ms) is larger than the self-weight moment (Mj) when the cylinder 41 is in the stored posture and the self-weight moment (Mj) is larger than the reaction force moment (Ms) when the cylinder 41 is in the upright posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
