To improve fireproof performance.SOLUTION: In a connection structure of a building material, a screw hole 10e extending along a longitudinal direction is provided in an upper rail 10, in which a small end face is opened and a portion of a peripheral wall 10f is opened by a notch 10g; a screw insertion hole 11d is provided in a stile 11; and the upper rail 10 and the stile 11 are connected to each other by screwing a screw 20 into the screw hole 10e via the screw insertion hole 11d. A holding part 30e is provided in the upper rail 10, arranged in a portion on both sides sandwiching the notch 10g in a peripheral part of the peripheral wall 10f of the screw hole 10e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
