To provide a novel polluted sand removing device capable of decreasing human labor in a removing work of polluted sand existing on a sand layer surface of a slow filter basin and the like.SOLUTION: A polluted sand removing device 1 is constituted of: a travel device 2 for making the device travel in a progress direction; a scraping device 3 gathering while scraping polluted sand with a rotor 31; a feeder 4 feeding the polluted sand gathered by the scraping device 3 in a predetermined direction; and a transportation conveyer 5 transporting the polluted sand fed by the feeder 4. The feeder 4 comprises: a sand thrower 41 giving kinetic energy to the polluted sand by rotation of a rotary blade 40; and a conduit 42 guiding the polluted sand to which the kinetic energy is given to an upstream end of the transportation conveyer 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】本発明は、緩速ろ過池等の砂層表面に存する汚砂の除去作業時における人的労力を軽減することができる新規な汚砂除去装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】 汚砂除去装置１を、進行方向に向かって走行させるための走行装置２と、ロータ３１によって汚砂を掻き取りながら寄せ集める掻き寄せ装置３と、前記掻き寄せ装置３によって寄せ集められた汚砂を一定方向に送り出す送り出し装置４と、前記送り出し装置４によって送り出された汚砂を搬送する搬送コンベア５と、によって構成されたものとし、前記送り出し装置４につき、回転羽４０の回転によって汚砂に運動エネルギーを与える投砂器４１と、運動エネルギーが与えられた汚砂を前記搬送コンベア５の上流端に導く導管４２と、を具備してなるものとする。【選択図】図１
