FAUCET AUTOMATIC DRAINAGE DEVICE
To provide a faucet automatic drainage device that periodically drains hot water from the faucet to inhibit the growth of bacteria in the pipe.SOLUTION: The faucet automatic drainage device 80 periodically opens a faucet 10 to drain and replace the water inside by periodically outputting an external signal equivalent to an opening signal to the faucet 10, regardless of whether the faucet 10 is in use or not. As a result, the same hot water does not stay inside the faucet 10 and its upstream area for a long period of time, which inhibits the growth of bacteria such as Legionella. Further, the faucet automatic drainage device 80 can be retrofitted to an existing faucet 10 by connecting a signal line 56 of the external signal to a signal line 22 of the opening signal on the faucet 10 side in parallel. 【課題】給水栓内の湯水を定期的に排出して管内の細菌の繁殖を抑制する給水栓自動排水装置を提供する。【解決手段】この給水栓自動排水装置８０は、開栓信号と同等の外部信号を給水栓１０側に定期的に出力することで、給水栓１０の使用、不使用に関わらず、定期的に給水栓１０を開栓動作させ内部の水を排出し入れ替えを行う。これにより、給水栓１０内部及びその上流域に同じ湯水が長期間滞留することはなく、レジオネラ属菌等の細菌類の繁殖を抑制することができる。また、この給水栓自動排水装置８０は、外部信号の信号ライン５６を給水栓１０側の開栓信号の信号ライン２２に並列接続することで、既存の給水栓１０に後付けすることができる。これにより、既存の給水栓１０に自動排水機能を簡単に付与することができる。【選択図】図１
