To provide a connecting pipe which can connect pipes, and can shield water by a simple structure, a construction method of the pipe, and a removal method of an existing pipe.SOLUTION: A connecting pipe for connecting a branch pipe branched from a square pipe to the square pipe comprises: a first region which is attached so as to cover a side hole formed at a side face of the square pipe, and in which a penetration hole communicating with the side hole is formed; a second region connected to the first region, formed into a tubular shape communicating with the penetration hole, and connected with the branch pipe; and a closing member detachably attached to the first region so as to close the penetration hole of the first region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
