To provide an attachment plate for snow scooping capable of being attached and detached, allowing the attachment and detachment operation to be easily carried out, and improving its usability, and to provide a shovel with the attachment plate for snow scooping.SOLUTION: An attachment plate for snow scooping detachably attached on a scooping surface of a scooping part arranged at a tip part of a shovel handle body is provided with a body covering plate part 1 made of a synthetic resin plate on which snow attaches less than on the scooping part; and an engaging part 2 for its attachment and engagement arranged on a rear surface of the scooping part and engaging with the tip part of the handle body, being configured to prevent the body covering plate part 1 from displacing upward by engagement of the engaging part 2 for its attachment and engagement with the tip part of the handle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
