EXPANSION-BLADE EXCAVATOR AND CAISSON SKELETON INSTALLATION METHOD
To provide an expansion-blade excavator and a caisson skeleton installation method, which can effectively excavate hard subsoil with a single type of excavator enabling effective installation of caissons.SOLUTION: An expansion-blade excavator 100 in this invention comprises a base machine 10 and an expansion-blade excavator body 30 suspended from the base machine 10 with a kelly-bar 20 to excavate subsoil G in the vertical direction along the inner wall surface 205 of a cylindrical caisson skeleton 200 and to excavate the subsoil G in an oblique direction along the tapered surface 220 of a cutting edge 210 of the caisson skeleton 200, and further comprises: a number of shaft-shaped expansion-blade cutters 60 arranged in parallel; rotary driving means 50 which rotates the multiple expansion-blade cutters 60 around each respective rotation axis; two swing driving means 70 which swing the multiple expansion-blade cutters 60 in varying timing; and a slide mechanism 80 which sandwiches and holds the multiple expansion-blade cutters 60 to synchronizingly move the multiple expansion-blade cutters 60 forward and back in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6B
