MANUFACTURING METHOD OF AGGREGATE, COARSE AGGREGATE AND FINE AGGREGATE
To provide a manufacturing method of an aggregate capable of using in a subbase material or concrete by using cooled oxide, by separating and cooling a metal and an oxide by melting a byproduct of normal temperature and a coarse aggregate and a fine aggregate manufactured according to the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing an aggregate by heating a by-product generated in a metal manufacturing process, separating into a metal and an oxide, and using the separated oxide, the by-product is one or more kinds selected from slag, dust, sludge, and used refractory, a raw material containing a reducing material is added to the by-product, heated to 1300°C or higher using an electric furnace, and the chemical composition of the oxide is CaO: 17 mass% or larger and 59 mass% or smaller, SiO2: 17 mass% or larger and 53 mass% or smaller, Al2O3: 5 mass% or larger and 45 mass% or smaller, MgO: 2 mass% or larger and 20 mass% or smaller, basicity (CaO/SiO2): 0.7 or larger and 2.0 or smaller, and cooling is performed so that 90 vol.% or more of the oxide heated to 1300°C or higher is crystallized, and the cooled oxide is reduced to a particle size of 40 mm or smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】常温の副生成物を溶融させて金属と酸化物とを分離・冷却し、冷却後の酸化物を用いて路盤材やコンクリート等に用いることができる骨材の製造方法および当該製造方法で製造される粗骨材および細骨材を提供する。【解決手段】金属製造工程で発生する副生成物を加熱して副生成物を金属と酸化物とに分離し、分離した酸化物を用いて骨材を製造する骨材の製造方法であって、副生成物は、スラグ、ダスト、スラッジおよび使用後耐火物から選ばれる1種以上であり、副生成物に還元材を含有する原料を加え、電気炉を用いて1300℃以上に加熱し、酸化物の化学組成は、CaO:17質量%以上59質量%以下、SiO2:17質量%以上53質量%以下、Al2O3:5質量%以上45質量%以下、MgO:2質量%以上20質量%以下、塩基度(CaO/SiO2):0.7以上2.0以下であり、1300℃以上に加熱された酸化物の90体積%以上が結晶化するように冷却し、冷却された酸化物を粒径40mm以下にする。【選択図】なし
