To prevent a door from being opened at the time of a disaster regardless of whether or not there is a resident in a building, and to make it safe in terms of crime prevention.SOLUTION: A disaster evacuation support system includes an earthquake sensing unit, an electric lock, and a locking/unlocking control unit. The earthquake sensing unit is attached to a wall of a building and outputs an earthquake detection signal upon detection of an earthquake tremor exceeding a certain seismic intensity. The electric lock is attached to a door lock of the building. The locking/unlocking control unit unlocks the electric lock in response to the earthquake detection signal, and controls the electric lock to be locked again after a certain period of time has elapsed according to the clocking of a timer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
