METHOD FOR FORMING TANTALUM CARBIDE ON GRAPHITE SUBSTRATE
To provide a method for forming tantalum carbide on a graphite substrate.SOLUTION: A method for forming tantalum carbide on a graphite substrate includes: a step (a) of adding an organic tantalum compound, a chelate agent, and a prepolymer to an organic solvent to form a tantalum polymer solution; a step (b) of subjecting a graphite substrate including the tantalum polymer solution to a hardening step to form a polymer tantalum film on the graphite substrate; and a step (c) of subjecting the polymer tantalum film on the graphite substrate to thermal decomposition reaction in the presence of a protective gas in an oven to obtain a protected tantalum carbide on the graphite substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
