To reduce power consumption of a lock opening/closing apparatus.SOLUTION: A lock control system S comprises: a control device 4 that controls a lock opening/closing apparatus 1 for opening/closing a lock; and a user terminal 2 that functions as a key corresponding to the lock. The user terminal 2 includes a terminal information notification part that notifies predetermined information, including specific information for specifying the user terminal 2, to the control device when a condition is met where a position of the user terminal 2 enters a predetermined area. The control device 4 comprises: a device storage part that associates and stores the specific information and lock identification information that identifies the lock opening/closing apparatus 1; and a device notification part that notifies an instruction for switching a communication state in which the lock opening/closing apparatus 1, indicated by the lock identification information stored in the device storage part in association with the specific information included in the predetermined information received from the user terminal 2, communicates with the user terminal 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
