To provide a shovel capable of improving work efficiency.SOLUTION: The shovel includes: a lower running body 1; an upper swing body 3 mounted rotatably onto the lower running body 1; an attachment 15 that is attached to the upper swing body 3; a bucket 6 included in attachment 15, as an end attachment; a plurality of end attachment position detection units S1, S2, S3, 16 for detecting a position of the bucket 6; an object detection device 25 that detects a dump truck 60 near the shovel; and a controller 30 that controls the bucket 6 to decelerate swing movement above the dump truck 60 so as to stop above the dump truck 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
