To provide a shovel capable of improving working efficiency.SOLUTION: A shovel has: a lower travelling body 1; an upper turning body 3 mounted turnably on the lower travelling body 1; an attachment 15 mounted on the upper turning body 3; a bucket 6 as an end attachment included in the attachment 15; end attachment position detection parts S1, S2, S3 and 16 for detecting a position of the bucket 6; an object detection device 25 for detecting a dump truck 60 present around the shovel; and a controller 30 for calculating a position of the dump truck 60, and then moving the bucket 6 to an upper position of the dump truck 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
